Why Choose to Study MBBS in the UK?

In this blog, I am going to tell you about the eligibility criteria for Study MBBS in the UK. But, before studying about this, let’s know why to choose the UK for MBBS. According to the QS News Ranking 20022, the 43 best universities in the UK are ranked among the 650 medical universities in the world. The average salary of a doctor/physician in the UK is 67% higher than in other medical and medical professions. The salaries of doctors/physicians have been steadily increasing over the last 6 years. The annual salary has increased from 245,000 GBP in 2016 to 318,000 GBP in 2021.

MBBS bachelors are not needed from UK universities to perform a postgraduate medical test abroad for an internship in India.

  1. Indian students must have a 10 + 2 certificate to study at MBBS in the UK. The following is a step-by-step process for Indian students to apply for MBBS in the UK:
  2. Gather all your official papers and have them accepted by suitable consultants.
  3. You can fill out the application through the UCAS entrance or openly through the university’s official website.
  4. After submitting your application form, wait for the MMI (micro-mini interviews) confirmation and invitation letter.
  5. After clearing the Micro Mini Interviews, you can wait for the final proposal and entire the Tier 4 visa process after getting the final proposal.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students

Acceptable Measures for Indian candidates to Study at MBBS in the UK:

Age must be over 18 of any candidates.

Students should score well, which is more than 90% in their 12th standard. Aspirants must be from global councils or ICSE / CBSE boards.

The student must take entrance exams in the UK, such as the UK Clinical Ability Test (UKCAT), Biomedical Admission Test (BMAT), or GAMSAT. The average scores for the above tests are given below;

  1. UKCAT – 650
  2. BMAT – 4.5-5.0
  3. GAMSAT – 60-66

Required Documents

  1. Certified form 10 + 2 with their copies.
  2. Each diploma certificate.
  3. Letter of reference about your academics from any new professor.
  4. Work Experience Letters with recommendations from supervisors, if any.
  5. Statement of purpose.
  6. Your updated resume.
  7. Copies of IELTS / UKCAT / BMAT scores.
  8. You will also need to provide proof of the amount.

Why take IELTS Exam to Study in the UK?

To take admitted to one of the best universities for MBBS in the UK, you need to take IELTS as soon as possible. Commonly, for the greatest of the top universities in the UK, the cut-off result is 6.5 to 7.0 points. If you are unable to provide the above grade in 10 + 2 or IELTS, you must take a 1-year Basic Course.
